Welcome to the Cambodia Student Christian Mission (CSCM)

clip_image002

Welcome CSCM members and friends.  We are delighted to inform you that we are starting our very first official web page/blog.  To help us share and gather information about what is happening with us.  We understand that it is difficult for people to gather information about us because we don't have a good system of exposing the work we do outside of Cambodia.  We hope that this web/blog can keep you updated with what is happening with us.

In the oncoming days we will post pictures, videos and other information concerning CSCM.  We also hope that you can send your comments to our new email address cambodia2scm@gmail.com and or leave your ideas and comments on the blog post.

We have a lot of exciting news to share and sad stories to share too.  We also realize that there is so much happening with our other SCM family in Indonesia and India concerning the abuse of power by the government.  Please know that we are thinking and praying for you all in solidarity.

We would also like to thank all our friends, senior friends and members for helping the life of CSCM.  We know that we have a lot of work to do but we are trying to keep positive about our future and would like to express our deepest thanks to all our new and old members.

Finally we are in the process of selecting a new national coordinator for CSCM.  We give thanks to Mr. Dith Sareth for his hard work as our out-going coordinator and wish him well as our Senior Friend.

We have allowed all CSCM members with adequate experience to submit their CV's and a cover letter explain why they see themselves as a coordinator for CSCM but also how we can work together as all members to develop our vision mission and Goal.

The questions we are asking to be submitted on your cover letter is the following:

1.  what is your understanding of CSCM?

2.  what your vision for CSCM?

3. what do you understand about the life of CSCM?

All CV's are to be given into me Rev. Paddy Noble (CSCM Senior Advisor) before the 30th of September 2008.  On October the 4th we will discuss by general consensus our new leadership.  Please keep us in your prayers and thoughts.
